JFET(접합 게이트 전계 효과 트랜지스터)는 전자 제어 스위치, 증폭기 또는 전압 제어 저항기로 사용되는 장치입니다. 게이트와 소스 단자 사이에 적절한 극성의 전위차가 가해지면 전류 흐름에 대한 저항이 증가합니다. 즉, 소스와 드레인 단자 사이의 채널에 흐르는 전류가 줄어듭니다. JFET는 소스와 드레인 단자 사이의 반도체 채널을 통해 흐르는 전하로 인해 바이어스 전류가 필요하지 않습니다.
