스테퍼 모터는 개별 단계로 움직이는 DC 전압 모션 액추에이터입니다. "위상"이라는 그룹으로 구성된 여러 코일 세트가 모터 전기자 위치를 결정합니다. 각 단계에 순차적으로 전원을 공급하면 전기자가 한 번에 한 단계씩 회전하게 됩니다. 컴퓨터 또는 마이크로컨트롤러로 관리되는 스테핑을 통해 정확한 위치 지정 및/또는 속도 제어가 달성됩니다. 스테퍼는 토크, 회전당 단계, 단계 각도, NEMA 프레임 크기, 코일 저항, 극성 및 샤프트 특성에 따라 선택됩니다.
