PTC(정온도 계수) 서미스터 온도 센서는 온도 상승에 따라 저항이 증가하는 장치입니다. 서미스터는 다른 많은 온도 센서 유형에 비해 상대적으로 크고 측정하기 쉬운 출력 신호를 생성하지만 그 특성은 덜 안정적이고 정밀한 온도 측정에 적합하지 않은 경향이 있습니다. 특히 PTC 서미스터는 과열 감지 응용 분야에 적합하며, 정확한 측정에는 적합하지 않지만 부정확한 "고온" 조건을 감지하는 데는 유용할 정도로 뚜렷한 비선형 온도-저항 관계를 나타내는 경우가 많습니다.
