O-링 컨트롤러라고도 하는 아이디얼 다이오드 컨트롤러는 정류기 다이오드와 유사하지만 전도 손실이 상당히 낮은 한 방향으로만 전류 흐름을 허용하는 방식으로 외부 통과 트랜지스터(일반적으로 FET)를 제어하도록 설계된 장치입니다. 다른 애플리케이션 중에서도 이중화 또는 출력 전류 용량 증가를 위해 병렬로 연결되도록 설계된 전원 공급 장치에서 역류 보호 기능을 제공하는 데 일반적으로 사용됩니다.
