OPA2365
The OPA2365 is a precision, low-power operational amplifier manufactured by Texas Instruments, designed for high-performance analog signal conditioning in space-constrained and power-sensitive applications. It features a wide supply voltage range from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, enabling flexible integration into both single-supply and dual-supply systems. The device operates with a quiescent current of just 180 µA per channel, making it ideal for battery-powered and portable electronics where energy efficiency is critical.
This amplifier offers a gain bandwidth product of 1.4 MHz, ensuring stable operation across a broad frequency range while maintaining excellent linearity and low distortion. Its input offset voltage is typically 1.5 mV, with a drift of only 4 µV/°C, which guarantees high accuracy over temperature variations. The OPA2365 also provides a high open-loop gain of 110 dB, contributing to precise amplification of small signals without introducing significant error.
One of the key features of the OPA2365 is its rail-to-rail input and output capability, allowing the amplifier to handle signals that swing close to the supply rails, maximizing dynamic range in low-voltage systems. It includes internal ESD protection and is fully specified for operation from –40°C to +125°C, ensuring robustness in harsh environments. Additionally, the device is available in a compact SOIC-8 package, supporting efficient PCB layout and minimizing board space usage.
Common applications include sensor signal conditioning in industrial automation, medical instrumentation such as patient monitors, and automotive systems like battery management and sensor interfaces. It is also well-suited for use in data acquisition systems, portable test equipment, and consumer electronics where low noise, low power, and high precision are essential requirements. The OPA2365’s compatibility with standard CMOS processes and its stability in capacitive load conditions further enhance its versatility in mixed-signal designs.
